The map is not linear. It moves in a spiral, returning us to familiar terrain with new awareness. Wherever you begin, it is an important first step. There is no single right beginning. What matters is that you enter the journey.
Each stage may bring a challenge, offer a lesson, and reveal its own wisdom. Choose the stage that speaks to where you are today.

Before the road
Original Wholeness
We begin whole and alive, born in relationship with the capacities to sense, think, feel, act, and love. Original wholeness is our beginning. The journey moves us toward wisdom, not back to our original innocence. It moves us into a more conscious relationship with what has always been present.

A living, spiral map
The map helps us locate ourselves, not judge where we are.
Read from beginning to end, or open to the stage that feels most familiar today. We do not end where we began, because we are different when we return.
We travel with many capacities. Wholeness asks them to travel together.
The inner round table
Every part belongs in the conversation.
Adaptation asks one or two capacities — often thinking or acting — to carry the load, while feeling and sensing lose value and go quiet. Wholeness is not one capacity dominating. It is thinking, feeling, acting, and sensing working together, seamlessly and in harmony. The Self becomes less like a soloist and more like a symphony with an inner conductor.
Dorothy reaches for the water not to destroy the Witch, but to save Scarecrow. Her feelings move through her rather than remaining frozen or turning against herself. Anger becomes clean, passionate advocacy for someone she loves. Water — symbol of feeling, flow, and life — dissolves the force that has kept them captive.
“What feelings in you need to be acknowledged, felt, and held in relationship? What happens when you listen to hurt, anxiety, or anger? Are they asking you to take loving, protective action on your behalf or someone else’s? Listening deeply and mindfully — to the parts within ourselves and to the important people in our lives — is the essence of compassion and love.”
Love does not merely surround us.It asks to be received.
From The Wizard of Oz to
The Wisdom of Us.
We travel the road looking outside ourselves for answers. Along the way, we discover the wisdom within us, between us, and all around us. In the end, the journey is not about finding what we lack, but learning to receive what has been here all along.
